Wednesday, September 20 & 27
As the name suggests, this workshop uses random found objects to create a unique negative from which a print or series of prints can be made.
In the first class you may select items from those provided or bring your own collection of textures and shapes suitable for pressing. Examples would be yarn, fabric scraps, small beads, leaves, wire or anything that sparks your imagination! These items are used to create a picture or abstract image by gluing them on card stock, thus creating your negative to be used in the second class.
In the second class you will apply ink to your negative making a print that can be matted, framed or used in another craft project. Please register by Friday, September 15 by calling 659-2626.
